When planning an outdoor wedding, always have a backup plan. Try choosing a venue that has an indoor area available for your wedding if it decides to rain that day. You could also consider having tents just in case you experience bad weather. When using a tent during rain, it is not ideal for when you have heavy rain as the ground beneath the tent will become wet and your guests will have to walk in it.
Think of an exotic location for your wedding to make it even more fun and memorable! You could hold your ceremony at a ranch and ride a white horse down the aisle, or have it at a wildlife preserve and have an animal bring the rings down the aisle. I wouldn’t recommend choosing a turtle for that job, though!
The most important tool you can have in your wedding arsenal, is preparation. Make sure that your purse includes everything that you might need to fix a problems. You need to try to think of anything that can go wrong or that you may anticipate needing, such as a mirror, so that you can see if anything is stuck in your teeth, some lipstick, so that you can spruce yourself up, and maybe a couple bobby pins to calm down any unruly hair. Whatever you think you may need, try to keep it in your purse.
Almost essential to a wedding is a photographer. No wedding is complete without a pictorial representation thereof. Don’t you want to save those memories for a lifetime, and be able to years from now look at them and remember all the blissful feelings you had that day? When planning a destination wedding you should find out how many people are willing to attend. You may think only a few can afford to get there, but it might turn out that most of your family has money put away for a vacation and they’d like to use your wedding as the venue!
If you are getting married for the second time, make this wedding different than your first. Have it at a different venue and decorate it differently. You do not want your second spouse to think that you are comparing this wedding to your first one. Also, make sure the wedding dates are not too close to the first marriage date either.
